- With our radio reports, you no longer have to suffer with what we call “speech to gibberish.” Our proprietary technology takes radio and turns it into comprehensive, verbatim text. No more playing “Guess the Context” with radio reports.
Want full-scale customer service? And want absolute certainty that every single broadcast mention is captured, no matter where and when it occurs — a country or sports station, small market morning show or a big station in a big city? Even agriculture media monitoring and radio and podcast farm stations in the country. You’ve come to the right place.
We live in a digital world that certainly includes digital media monitoring. But that doesn’t mean the people you deal with have to also be digital. We are friendly, knowledgeable, and analog.
When you need to reach a real, live person, that’s who you will reach.
And those real, live people are thrilled that their clients can have absolute certainty that every single broadcast mention is captured and quantified no matter where and when it occurs.
Our unique service structure saves you both time, money and a load of aggravation. We behave like a virtual extension of your own team. We do ALL the work for you. You just have to impress your clients with the comprehensive picture of how much earned media has been generated.
AIQU isn't really an acronym but our CEO liked it. You ask him, we don't know ourselves.
Though we offer competitively priced annual subscriptions, we’re happy to work on a project basis as well. Since our expert team does all of the work around entering and refining the Boolean search terms, weeding through hits to assure relevance and generating daily reports, your team is free to use the many hours saved on something more rewarding.
Bottom line:
There is nobody in the media monitoring space that delivers the same level of coverage and value.
National Aircheck began, as most businesses do, in the CEO’s Chicago apartment dining room. His neighbor, his wife and two dogs who were very good at licking envelopes. Way before the internet and before Gen X started watching episodes of “Friends.”
It was a different business back then. Instead of a cloud with 1500 or so streaming radio stations, we had people in the field who recorded for us when we called them. Roughly 2000 of them along with massive Fed Ex bills. Everything recorded on cassette tape.
Our clients back then were mostly radio stations who wanted to hear what other radio stations were doing.
For a little over 11 years we recorded in the top 50 markets every month in the Top 40, Rock, Country and Adult Contemporary formats. Scoped down so you could hear every element of every radio station. About 24 stations each month.
Then, around 1999 we became involved in a variety of recording projects and began providing radio to existing monitoring firms.
We built our own data center around that time and also bult our own cloud. Although we didn’t call it that. I think we called it “Ernie.”
Fast forward to the mid 2000 aughts and we had morphed into a tech company providing terrestrial radio recordings. Our original monthly “travel guide for radio” was long gone.
In 2013 we built our second internal platform, but this time with all streams. We started with 200 and kept adding till we had 1,500 ongoing streams with ability to add an unlimited number.
It allowed us to do all kinds of things we had never done before including tracking PSA’s, commercials and live reads. We never used speech to text as we found at the time it was more like speech to gibberish. Instead we used a phonetic search engine and mixed that with human beings thus eliminating the false positives and creating almost perfect text.
Here we are 37 years later, still reinventing ourselves based on our clients’ needs.
