We were the first monitoring firm to search podcasts. We didn’t search the RSS feed which is still done by way too many firms, instead we search the actual audio of every podcast. Those podcasts are targeted to our clients’ interests. So instead of recording thousands of random podcasts and hoping our client gets mentioned, we target the top 200 podcasts in their specific area of interest. Otherwise it’s like searching the table of contents of a book, but not the actual text of the book.
